FOCUS ON THE DIVINE

FOCUS ON THE DIVINE


In today's GOSPEL=Jesus warns
Us=NOT to make
Our sacrifices and sufferings
OBVIOUS to others


We should act the SAME WAY
All the time=regardless
Of what is going on
INSIDE of us


To want some RECOGNITION
For our efforts
Is HUMAN NATURE


But Jesus wants us
To FOCUS on the DIVINE NATURE
Of God


And NOT WORRY
What others think of us


“And your Father
Who SEES what is hidden
Will REPAY YOU” Matthew 6:18


Yes we should FOCUS
On the DIVINE
And act
As if we are


BEING WATCHED by God
At all times
Because we ARE


FOCUS ON THE DIVINE!


“For since
The CREATION of the world
GOD'S invisible qualities--------
His eternal power and DIVINE NATURE---------


Have been clearly seen
Being understood
From what has been made


So that people
Are WITHOUT EXCUSE” Romans 1:20


“The WEAPONS we fight with
Are NOT
The weapons of the world


On the contrary=
They have DIVINE POWER
To demolish strongholds” 2 Corinthians 10:4


Yes=the WEAPONS of God=
Our weapons are LOVE-
Forgiveness and KINDNESS


“Through these
He has given us
His very great
And PRECIOUS PROMISES


So that through them
You may participate
In the DIVINE NATURE


Having escaped
The corruption of the world
Caused by evil desires” 2 Peter 1:4


There is NOT much sense
In trying to HIDE
From God or others


God KNOWS who we are
And what we are doing
He knows everything about us
He MADE US


You CAN'T HIDE from God


“Rescue me
From my enemies=Lord


For I HIDE myself in you” Psalm 143:9


Dear Lord=we HOPE and PRAY
That our deeds and sacrifices
Are PLEASING to you


For if they are=
We have NO REASON
To hide


We can just continue to
FOCUS ON THE THE DIVINE!
