MORE AND MORE


TODAY we celebrate the
FEAST of John the Baptist


WHEN both John and Jesus
Were adults=
Jesus called John
The GREATEST PERSON
Of the Old Testament


While John called Jesus
The GREATEST ONE
Of all time


John KNEW who he was
And he knew=who Jesus was
The SON OF GOD


“Behold ONE is
Coming after me


I am NOT WORTHY
To unfasten the sandals
Of his feet” Acts 13:25


He knew that
Jesus had to become MORE AND MORE
And that John himself
Had to become
Less and less


Wouldn't it be wonderful
If more of us CHRISTIANS=
In today's world=
KNEW THAT?


MORE AND MORE


“HE must become more and more=
I must become LESS AND LESS” John 3:30


John was considered to be
The PRECURSOR of our LORD
And the name John
Means=”the GRACIOUSNESS OF GOD”


Too bad we can't
Live with the GRACIOUSNESS
Of John the BAPTIST


And let Jesus
Become “MORE and MORE”
In us


“May God be GRACIOUS
To us
And make his face
SHINE on us” Psalm 67:1


“GRACIOUS words are
A honeycomb=
Sweet to the SOUL
And HEALING to the bones” Proverbs 16:24


John was a GREAT MAN=
His PURPOSE was to lead
Others to Christ


And then step
Out of the way


And isn't that the WAY
It should be for us


That we should LEAD OTHERS
To Christ


So that CHRIST can become
GREATER=in them=and we
Should become LESS


MORE CHRIST=less of us


“Jesus said=
You believe
Because I told you
I saw you
UNDER the fig tree


You will see
GREATER THINGS than that” John 1:50


Today=as we HONOR John
The Baptist


Let us let JESUS become
“MORE AND MORE” of us=and let
Our worldly selves
Become less and less


In the names of JESUS and his HEAVENLY FATHER
