AN ACT OF LOVE!

AN ACT OF LOVE!
Today is EPIPHANY SUNDAY=
And we read about the
THREE KINGS bringing their gifts
Their gifts
Of gold-frankincense-and myrrh
What gift do you have
For the baby Jesus?
MAY I make a suggestion=
Do a KIND ACT OF LOVE
For someone this week=
AN ACT OF LOVE
Do it for God=
Do it for
The BABY JESUS
"........On entering the house=
The MAGI saw the child
With Mary his mother
They...did him homage...and offered him
GIFTS of gold-
Franincense-and myrrh"                                                                                                             Matthew 2:11
You don't have to bring
GIFTS to Jesus=but you can
Do and ACT OF LOVE
From the heart=
For someone else
MAKE that your gift=
Jesus loves it
WHEN we act
From the HEART
"A GIFT given
In secret=soothes anger
And a bribe
Concealed in the cloak
Pacifies great wrath"                                                                                                                  Proverbs 21:14
"Peter replied=
'Repent and be baptized
Every one of you
In the name
Of Jesus Christ=
For the forgiveness
Of your sins
And you will receive
THE GIFT
Of the Holy Spirit'"                                                                                                                     Acts 2:38
The LEAST we can do
Is GIVE the Lord a gift=
AN ACT OF LOVE
He has already done
So much for us
GIVING us the gift
Of the HOLY SPIRIT=
Taking on our sins
JESUS=giving the GIFT
Of his love=FOR US
What can we BRING
To Jesus this EPIPHANY SUNDAY?
What he really wants
Is the GIFT
OF OUR LOVE
Some act of LOVE=
To HELP someone else
"For if
The willingness is there
The GIFT is accptable
According to what one has=
NOT according to
What one=does not have"                                                                                                 2 Corinthians 8:12
And so as TODAY UNFOLDS-
As the week unfolds
See what SPECIAL CHANCES
Might occur-
In your life
To HELP someone else
LOOK for the chance
To ENCOURAGE=to WELCOME=
To FORGIVE=
To SHARE your joy
Look for the OPPORTUNITY
To commit
AN ACT OF LOVE
For someone else today
Just like the THREE KINGS
