CHERISHED BY GOD

CHERISHED BY GOD


Jesus was the SON-
Of the FATHER=
And he was CHERISHED


Today we celebrate
His baptism=
Cherished by the Father
As we ALL ARE


Jesus CHERISHES us all too
“This is MY BELOVED SON
With whom
I am WELL PLEASED” Matthew 3:17


We are cherished by God=
Can you IMAGINE
How great
You would feel


If God the Father
Told you he
Was WELL PLEASED with you?


I wonder how JESUS FELT
When his Father
Told him=He was well pleased
With him


Surely something INCREDIBLE
In Jesus=STIRRED in him
And he was ASSURED
To go-
Forward with CONFIDENCE


KNOWING that he would be
Embraced in LOVE
By the Father


No matter what happened
IN THE FUTURE


And that is the WAY
It is with us=
God CHERISHES US
With love


NO MATTER
What comes in the future


“If I had
CHERISHED sin
In my heart


The Lord
Would not have listened” Psalm 66:18


“The one who
Gets wisdom=loves life


The one who CHERISHES
Understanding=will soon prosper” Proverbs 19:8


Do you believe
You are CHERISHED
By God?


I have never heard
God call me “BELOVED”
But I feel
CHERISHED by God


When I read the PSALMS-
When I pray to God=
With God's promise
Of shelter-refuge-comfort-
And compassion


I FIND God's assurance
Of mercy=kindness=
And unconditional love
REFLECTED in Jesus' life


Jesus is the HOLY ONE
Come alive=and he
CHERISHES US TOO


Let us pause and LISTEN
For God to call us
“BELOVED” today


“Let the BELOVED
Of the Lord
Rest secure in him


For he shields him
All day long


And the one the LORD LOVES
Rests between his shoulders” Deuteronomy 33:12


Rest today=feel loved=
You are
CHERISHED BY GOD=
All of us


In Jesus' name=and the name of the FATHER=who LOVES US ALL
