As we go through LENT=
We should be
Moving CLOSER to God


We should be coming
Closer to the MIND OF GOD


We should be coming
Closer to the DIVINE PERSPECTIVE


“Sharing your bread
With the hungry


Sheltering the oppressed
And the homeless” Isaiah 58:7


When we GATHER around
A table
To SHARE a meal


When we
Bring guests
INTO OUR HOME=
We see them up CLOSE


We recognize their faces
And their stories
AS OUR OWN


Our own family
And friends=
SEEING them
Through the DIVINE PERSPECTIVE


They are no longer them
They are us=
They are OUR
FAMILY AND FRIENDS


We recognize them
For who they are=
OUR NEIGHBORS
They are us


Getting closer
To the DIVINE PERSPECTIVE


“The Lord is
CLOSE to the brokenhearted


And saves those
Who are crushed in spirit” Psalm 34:18


“'Do not come
ANY CLOSER'
God said


'Take off your sandals
For the place=where
You are standing
Is holy ground'” Exodus 3:5


“I will
Bring them near
And he will
Come CLOSE to me-------


For who is he
Who will devote himself
To be CLOSE TO ME?” Jeremiah 30:21


We all want
That DIVINE PERSPECTIVE=
We all want others
To be close to us
Just like FAMILY


Come CLOSER to God
Come closer to family
And FRIENDS


ENJOY that divine perspective
Of God and Jesus=
With one another
SHARE a meal


FEEL the holiness of God
And the holiness
Of one another


May we all find
That DIVINE PERSPECTIVE
Of God
With one another


“Through these
He has given us
His very great
And precious promises


So that through them
You may participate
In the DIVINE NATURE........” 2 Peter 1:4


THIS LENT=may we
Come CLOSER to the
Divine perspective
With one another


Through SHARED PRAYER=
And a shared meal


In Jesus' name=and in the name of our EVER DIVINE God the FATHER!
