HEARING=THE LORD’S WORD
Fortunately for us=
The TEACINGS of Jesus-
Do not require degrees
To UNDERSTAND the Word
With just a little TIME
And an OPEN mind and HEART=
We can understand
THE ROOT of Jesus’ teachings
HEARING=THE LORD’S WORD
“……..For although you
Have hidden these things
From the wise=and the learned
You have REVEALED THEM
To the childlike”
Matthew 11:25
Our advance minds
Are not necessary
To understand GOD’S WORDS
All that is needed
IS for us to
Open our minds=and open our HEARTS
Listening for the Word of God
HEARING THE LORD’S WORD
“Consequently faith comes
From HEARING the message
And the message=IS HEARD
Through the WORD about Christ”
Romans 10:17
There is a TIME
For a deeper study
About the word of God
Maybe in morning prayer-
Maybe IN BIBLE STUDY
But it is MORE IMPORTANT
That we just
OPEN our hearts and minds
And take on
The WORDS of our Lord
With childlike faith
Dear Lord=we pray
Let our HEARTS be open
Let us HEAR
The Lord’s words today
“……..if my people
Who are called
By my name=will humble themselves
And pray=and seek my face
And turn from their wicked ways
THEN I WILL HEAR=from heaven
And I will forgive=their sin
And will heal their land”
2 Chronicles 7:14
“Whoever has ears=
LET THEM HEAR”
Matthew 11:15
And so dear Lord=we PRAY
That we OPEN OUR HEARTS
And MINDS=To Scripture today
And that we are
Open for the Word of God
HEARING THE LORD’S WORD
In our hearts today
“Heaven and earth will pass away
BUT MY WORDS
Will never pass away”
Matthew 24:35
In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our Holy Father God
Who has a FOREVER OPEN HEART!
