BELIEVING THE WRONG THINGS

(They got it WRONG)!

 

There is so much INFORMATION=

Out there=in today’s world

It is SO EASY=to get caught up in

BELIEVING THE WRONG THINGS

 

But apparently=that has

ALWAYS been the case=since

The beginning of TIME

Just look at Adam and Eve

 

“The Lord=the Lord

The compassionate and gracious God=

Slow to anger=

ABOUNDING IN LOVE=and faithfulness……..”                                                                           Exodus 34:6

 

Adam and Eve=BELIEVED

WRONG THINGS=eating the

Forbidden fruit=and thinking they could become

LIKE God

THEY GOT IT ALL WRONG

There is ONLY ONE God

The God of love=Our Holy Father God

And Jesus Christ

 

And so many of us today

Are=BELIEVING THE WRONG THINGS

In this world

 

TURNING AWAY from God=for

Money and material possessions=for sex

And pornography=and alcohol and drugs

And who knows=what all

 

Adam and Eve

COULN’T possess the knowledge and power

Of God=and neither can we

 

All we can do=IS EMPTY OURSELVES

And FOLLOW the teachings of Jesus Christ

 

“But I tell you=that

Everyone will have to give=account

 

On the day of judgment

For every EMPTY WORD=they have spoken”                                                                               Matthew 12:36

 

“Let no one deceive you

WITH EMPTY WORDS=for

Because of such things=God’s wrath

Comes on those=who are disobedient”                                                                                   Ephesians 5:6

 

“For you know that=it was

NOT with perishable things

Such as silver and gold

 

That you were redeemed=from the EMPTY WAY

Of life=handed down to you

From your ancestors=but with

 

The precious blood of Christ

A lamb=Without blemish or defect”                                                                                             1 Peter 1:18

 

Adam and Eve=BELIEVED THE WRONG THINGS

And ate of the fruit=who and what

ARE we putting our BELIEFS IN TODAY

BELIEVING THE WRONG THINGS

 

“The time has come’=Jesus said

‘The kingdom of God=has come near=

Repent=and BELIEVE the good news!’”                                                                                      Mark 1:15

 

Believe and HAVE FAITH=

In the things of God’s world

NOT=of this world=and be a

LOVER OF GOD AND OTHERS

 

We are not God=all we can do

Is love God=love others=forgive

And LIVE THE BEATITUDES

LIVING AND BELIEVING THE RIGHT THINGS!

 

In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our FOREVER LIVING=FOREVER LOVING=Holy Father God!
