I AM BACK=NEVER TOO LATE!

So sorry for the PASSING OF COUSIN BRIAN=much too young=BUT SO VERY APPRECIATIVE

AND THANKFUL

For the FAMILY and friends that I HAVE=LOVE YOU ALL

( This poem was written=before my TRIP NORTH)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

NEVER TOO LATE!

(For a JOURNEY with God)

 

Today we read about=God

CALLING Abraham=0ut=when he

Is 75 years old=and asking him

To GO to a new land

 

I just want to say=we are

NEVER TOO OLD!=to do=or

At least try to do=what God has

CALLED us to do

We are=NEVER to old=it is

NEVER TO LATE!=to go

On a journey with God

 

“The Lord said to Abraham’=

‘Go forth=from the land=of your kinsfolk

And from your father’s house=to a land

That I will show you’

 

……..Abraham=was 75 YEARS OLD

When he  left Haran”                                                                                                                Genesis 12: 1, 4

 

Sometimes=OUR BODIES

Don’t want to cooperate=with what

Our HEARTS want to do

 

But we can STILL COOPERATE=with God

The very BEST=that we can

 

MY MOM=was 68 years old

When her and I left Pittsburgh=

With me=after my dad died

 

And we SPENT=7and ½ good years together

In South Florida=before she died

And we got CLOSE=to my sister Terri

All over again

 

It is=NEVER TOO LATE!=we are

Never too old=to go on A JOURNEY

With the Lord=when it is

FOR our own good=and he CALLS our hearts

 

FOLLOWING GOD AND JESUS=

Wherever they may lead

 

“DO NOT FOLLOW=the crowd

In doing wrong=when you give

 

Testimony=in a lawsuit=do not=pervert justice

By siding with the crowd”                                                                                                                  Exodus 23:2

 

“Surely your goodness and love=

WILL FOLLOW ME=all

The days of my life”                                                                                                                     Psalm 23:6

 

“When he has brought out=all his own

He goes on=ahead of them

 

And his sheep=FOLLOW HIM

Because they know his voice”                                                                                                     John 10:4

 

We MAY=not be ready

For a NEW physical journey

But we are=NEVER TOO LATE

 

For a new INTERIOR JOURNEY

With our Lord=we never KNOW

When the Lord=may CALL on us

To MOVE in a new direction

 

But if he calls on us

He will help us=TO FOLLOW HIM

The Lord=wherever he wants us to God

PHYSICALLY OR SPIRITURALLY=just like Abraham

The FATHER of many nations

 

“THEY FOLLOW THE LAMB=

Wherever he goes=they were purchased

 

From among mankind=and offered as

First fruits=to God and the Lamb”                                                                                            Revelation 14:4

 

Remain READY=for the Spirit of God

He may have=A NEW JOURNEY=in mind

For you=It is=NEVER TOO LATE!

No matter how old=that you are

 

In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our FOREVER CALLING=forever LOVING=Holy Father God!
