OUR PAIN=HIS LOVE

 

OUR PAIN=HIS LOVE

 

We all know=what IT IS LIKE

To lose someone=or something

In this life=to be=FEELING NUMBING PAIN

 

And it seems like=there is

NO TIME LIMIT

Like this pain=will NEVER END

 

Hopefully=our striking pain

TURNS into a DULL PAIN

That goes away=but it seems like

We NEVER

Get over this MOURNING

 

“Blessed are they WHO MOURN=

For they will be COMFORTED”                                                                                         Matthew 5:4

 

SOMEHOW=our pain EASES a little

Over the years=as

Christ’s LOVE=and God’s UNRELENTING LOVE

Seep in

 

And the love=the shared experiences=AND MEMORIES

With other FAMILY MEMBERS=and friends

Makes it just a=tad lighter too

OUR PAIN=GOD and CHRIST’S LOVE=their love HELPS

 

“Or someone=may be chastened

On a bed of PAIN=with constant distress

In their bones”                                                                                                               Job 33:19

 

“No discipline seems pleasant

At the time=BUT PAINFUL

 

Later on however=it produces

A harvest of righteousness=and peace

For those=who have been trained by it”                                                                 Hebrews 12:11

 

Somehow=God CHIPS AWAY

At our pain=WITH LOVE=He conquers

Our doubt and anger

 

When my Father=first died

IN the year 2,000=I didn’t think

I could go on=and the again

WHEN my Mother died in 2010

 

But God helped CONSOLE ME=

And our FAMILY’S PAIN=making our PAIN

Just a little LIGHTER=so that we

Could go on

OUR PAIN=HIS LOVE

 

Our God=COMFORTS US

In the dark times=and through OUR GRIEF

 

“Even though=I walk

Through the darkest valley=I will

Fear no evil

 

For you are with me=Your

Rod and staff=they COMFORT ME”                                                                                          Psalm 23:4

 

“But the one=who prophesies

Speaks to people=for their strengthening=

Encouraging=and COMFORT”                                                                                              Hebrews 12:11

 

Undoubtedly=my friends=

Sometimes we feel=gut wrenching

SOUL-PIERCING PAIN=in this life

 

ONLY the Father’s and Christ’s love

Can CUT through this pain

And ENABLE US=to go on

OUR PAIN=HIS LOVE=THEIR LOVE!

 

In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our SOUL-COMFORTING=loving Holy Father God!
