JOURNAL/IT'S JUST THE BEGINNING

"NOW this is eternal life-that they should KNOW you-THE ONLY TRUE GOD-and the ONE you sent Jesus Christ"    John 17:3

OUR ETERNAL LIFE will begin the day we MAKE GOD and Jesus number ONE in our life-and the really GOOD NEWS is that this relationship can start right now-and that ETERNAL LIFE will be a dynamic relationship with God that will NEVER be taken away from us

IT is a GREAT DAY to be ALIVE in GOD'S never ending  EVERLASTING love for us!


















IT'S JUST THE BEGINNING




Today-GOOD FRIDAY
Is NOT the end
It is just the beginning


It looks like the end
It FEELS like the end
It is tempting to give in
To despair


But we know
The Resurrection
Is coming swiftly


“Because of his affliction
He shall see the light” Isaiah 53:11


And because of Christ's victory
Over death
WE shall see the light


There are profound tragedies
In ALL our lives
Unspeakable losses
But uniting our crosses
With Christ's
Give RISE to light
And NEW BEGINNINGS


“The Lord
TURNS my darkness
Into light” 2 Samuel 22:29


And each new ray of light
Gives way
To new beginnings


“In the beginning
You laid the foundation
Of the earth
And the heavens
Are the work of your hands” Psalm 102:25


And Christ's death and RESURRECTION
IS the foundation
Of life in us


OUR BELIEF
That our lives
Can be RESURRECTED too


They thought it was the end
But is was only THE BEGINNING


“Then one of them-named Caiaphas
Who was the high priest that year
Spoke up


'You know
Nothing at all
You do not realize
that it is better for you
That one man
Die for the people
Than the whole nation perish'” John 11:49:50


But Caiaphas
Had it wrong-backwards
It was ONE MAN
LIVING for all the people


IT WAS JUST THE BEGINNING


The BEGINNINGS of Christ's Resurrection
The beginning of NEW LIFE
For us ALL


“Therefore
Go and make DISCIPLES
Of all nations
BAPTIZING them
In the name
Of the Father
And of the Son
And of the Holy Spirit


And teaching them
To OBEY everything I command you


And SURELY I am with you
ALWAYS-to the very end
Of the age” Matthew 28:19-20


The BEGINNING of GOD'S WORD
Being alive in us


It is
ONLY THE BEGINNING
