SERVING THE LORD!

SERVING THE LORD!


We all have NEEDS in
This world=but at the END
Of the day=
We ONLY have ONE MASTER


And for me=that MASTER=
Is God and Jesus=FOLLOWED closely
By FAMILY=
WHOM are you going to
SERVE in this world?


“NO servant can serve
TWO masters=he will either
Hate one=and LOVE the other


Or be-
DEVOTED to one
And despise the other


You CANNOT SERVE
God and mammon” Luke 16:13


“Mammon” REFERS to
Wealth and riches


And-BOTH- to some degree
Are NECESSARY-
For all of us


We NEED food-clothing-and shelter=
But we should NOT put ANY of this
Above God and family


Jesus UNDERSTANDS this-and-
Accepts this=as long as
We do NOT PUT anything
ABOVE serving of our God and FAMILY


“But as for ME-
And my HOUSEHOLD-
We will SERVE THE LORD” Joshua 24:15


“IF we are thrown
Into the blazing furnace


The God we SERVE-
Is ABLE to deliver us-
And he WILL deliver us
From Your Majesty's hand


But EVEN if he does not
We want you to KNOW-
Your Majesty=
That we will NOT serve
Your gods=or worship


The IMAGE of gold
You have set up” Daniel 3:17-18


“For the LOVE OF MONEY=
Is a ROOT of-
ALL KINDS of evil


Some people-EAGER for money
Have WANDERED from the FAITH
And pierced themselves-
With many griefs” 1 Timothy 6:10


Jesus UNDERSTANDS that we
Have PHYSICAL needs


For that reason=ONE of his
GREATEST MIRACLES=was feeding 5,000
With a FEW loaves of bread-
And a couple of fish


And for that REASON=
Jesus CHANGED water into wine
And allowed the CELEBRATION
To CONTINUE at Cana


But throughout his ministry=
Jesus SERVED only ONE master


And we should do the SAME=
SERVE the Lord first!=
And our FAMILY second


We need to ASK ourselves=
WHO are we SERVING our
Lives FOR TODAY?


What is the FOCUS of the CHOICES
We are MAKING for our lives?


Dear LORD=we PRAY=that we USE=
All of our RESOURCES for SERVING
YOU TODAY!


We HUNGER for and SERVE YOU LORD!


In the names of Jesus=and OUR MOST HEAVENLY FATHER
