THANKING GOD FOR THE SHEPHERD!


2,000 years ago=as well as TODAY
We were in DESPERATE NEED
Of a leader=a SHEPHERD
That BRINGS us back to God


THANK GOD for the SHEPHERD=
Thank God for our Shepherd=our God=
Our Jesus=who LEADS all the other SHEEP=
Comes and FINDS us INDIVIDUALLY=and
BRINGS us back to God


“I will RESCUE THEM
From every place=
WHERE they were scattered


When it was cloudy
And dark” Ezekiel 34:12


WHERE do we go=when we ARE
In our dark days=and LOST
In the clouds


We go to the ONE we can
TRUST=OUR GOD=our Jesus=who FINDS
Us in the midst of it all


THANKING God for the SHEPHERD
Thanking The LORD for the one
We can TRUST=our Jesus


When we are LOST
When the threatening hours
Overshadow our lives


When hope seems
LIKE a dream


And when the way FORWARD
Seems like a STEEP-taxing-
Impossible uphill CLIMB=


TURN to the one
WE can TRUST=our shepherd=
Our Jesus


“But I TRUST-
In your UNFAILING LOVE-
My heart REJOICES
In your salvation” Psalm 13:5


“The greedy
STIR up conflict-
But those who TRUST


In the Lord
Will prosper” Proverbs 28:25


“May the God of HOPE
FILL you with all
JOY and PEACE


As you TRUST in him
So that
You may OVERFLOW


With hope=by the POWER
Of the HOLY SPIRIT” Romans 15:13


Today we celebrate=
CHRIST THE KING=the King of the UNIVERSE=
How FITTING today that our readings
Celebrate those of the SHEPHERD


The ONE who accompanies us
ALWAYS=the one
Who gives us RESTFUL BREATH
When we are
In labored breathing


The ONE who SEARCHES for us
And brings us HOME when we
Are LOST


“The Lord is my SHEPHERD=
I lack nothing” Psalm 23:1


YES=our SHEPHERD is at
The heart of GOD'S REIGN


Let us always TURN to
The SHEPHERD=and always THANK GOD
For the Shepherd's LEAD


In Jesus' name forever and ever=and the name
OF HIS MOST GLORIOUS FATHER
