A GIFT FOR ALL TO SEE


John the BAPTIST
Has a special place
In the BIBLE


He PREPARED the WAY
For his contemporaries
To recognize Jesus
At the time Jesus
Was BEGINNING
His public ministry


His life
Was a GIFT for all
To see


“And this is what John PROCLAIMED:
'ONE mightier than I
Is COMING after me


I am NOT worthy to stoop
And loosen the thongs
Of his sandals” Mark 1:7


YES=John pointed out
That Jesus would BAPTIZE him
With the HOLY SPIRIT


John's life was truly a GIFT
For ALL who heard
And ACCEPTED what he said


JUST as our lives too
ARE GIFTS from God=
How are we going to use
OUR GIFTS=to point the WAY
To God and Christ?


“Make VOWS to the Lord
Your God=and FULFILL them


Let all the neighboring lands
Bring GIFTS
To the ONE to be feared” Psalm 76:11


“A GIFT opens the way
And ushers the giver
Into


The PRESENCE of the great” Proverbs 18:16


John's life
Prepared the way
For the COMING of the LORD


His life was a GIFT
For all to see


In every age=there are people
That PREPARE the way
For Christ


MANY have helped me
To KNOW Christ better
And to DEEPEN my
Relationship with him


Who has done this
For you? Have YOU done this
For others?


John's life was a GIFT
Your life/my life
Are gifts too


Let us ALL HELP OTHERS
Get ready to receive Christ=
To receive LOVE in this world


Like John=let us HELP
PREPARE the way for others
To RECEIVE CHRIST


Like John=let OUR LIVES
BE GIFTS for all to see
The PRESENCE of Christ


“On the mountain
The Lord ALMIGHTY
Will prepare


A FEAST of rich food
For all peoples
A banquet of aged wine--------


The BEST of meats=and the
FINEST of wines” Isaiah 25:6


Dear Lord=HELP us like John=
to let others see the
GIFTS of our LIVES


As we PREPARE THE WAY
For God and Jesus
FOR ALL TO SEE
