GETTING US THROUGH THE TOUGH TIMES!

GETTING US THROUGH THE TOUGH TIMES

This past SUNDAY=yesterday= was known as
GAUDETE SUNDAY=it is Latin
And it means “REJOICE!”

And it marks the halfway point
Of ADVENT

CAN you rejoice ALWAYS? Can you
REJOICE in all circumstances? In pain?
In disappointment? WHEN we have lost
A LOVED ONE?

As CHRISTIANS that is what
We are CALLED UPON to do
And it is NOT easy

But if we are ONE with God=we CAN
REJOICE in all circumstances=even in
The TOUGHEST of times

“REJOICE ALWAYS!=pray without ceasing=
In ALL circumstances=GIVE THANKS
For this is

The WILL OF GOD
For you in Christ Jesus” 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

“REJOICE ALWAYS”=how difficult
To DO when we
Have a CHRONIC ILLNESS

When our funds
Don't pay our bills

Or when we=
Have relationship difficulties

The ONLY way that we
Get through the TOUGH TIMES
Is to “PRAY WITHOUT CEASING”=
TURNING our lives
Over to the Lord

PRAY through the DIFFICULT TIMES
Of your life=if there is
ANY WAY to CONTINUE to rejoice
This is it

“But may the RIGHTEOUS
Be glad

And REJOICE before God
May they be happy
And JOYFUL” Psalm 68:3

REJOICING in difficult times=
And getting THROUGH the tough times

“However=do NOT rejoice
That the spirits submit to you

But REJOICE=that your names=
Are WRITTEN in heaven” Luke 10:20

“But even if I
Am being POURED out
Like a drink offering

On the sacrifice
And SERVICE coming
From your FAITH

I am glad
And REJOICE with ALL of you” Philippians 2:17

REJOICING WITH GOD
Rejoicing with others
Even during the
TOUGH CIRCUMSTANCES of life

We should NOT be thankful
For the difficult circumstances
Of life

But we should be THANKFUL
That we are NOT in it
ALONE=we have GOD=we have Jesus=
And we have our BROTHERS & SISTERS
In Christ

We are NOT ALONE=
We will get THROUGH the
TOUGH TIMES=and we will REJOICE!

The ONE who came to be
With us AT CHRISTMAS=is HOLDING on
To us IN LOVE

GAUDETE!

In the names of Jesus and his MOST LOVING FATHER!
