OPEN YOUR EYES TO HIS EVERLASTING GLORY

OPEN YOUR EYES=
TO HIS EVERLASTING GLORY


Oh Simeon=how GREAT you were=
You WAITED patiently and FAITHFULLY
For the COMING
Of the Lord


You HELD your people=GOD'S PEOPLE
In your HEART
You were MOVED
With the SPIRIT
And the Lord
FULFILLED his PROMISE to you


As he DOES
To all of us


You HELD in your arms
The LOVE of GOD made flesh
And you even RECOGNIZED it


“........He took him into his arms
And BLESSED GOD.........” Luke 2:28


These CHRISTMAS DAYS=we too
Have GOD'S LOVE in our hearts


The SPIRIT has whispered
Into our hearts to PREPARE
For Jesus coming into our LIVES


And God's PROMISES has
Taken ROOT in our lives


Like Simeon=we OPEN our eyes
To the EVERLASTING GLORY of
Jesus Christ


“The EYE
Is the LAMP of the body


If your eyes are healthy
Your WHOLE body
Will be FULL OF LIGHT” Matthew 6:22


“My eyes
Are EVER on the Lord


For only he
Will release my feet
From the snare” Psalm 25:15


“So we FIX our EYES
NOT on what is seen
But what is UNSEEN


Since what is seen
Is TEMPORARY
But what is UNSEEN
IS ETERNAL” 2 Corinthians 4:18-19


We may not be
AS alert and responsive
As Simeon and Anna
Who BOTH welcomed and held the Lord


But we STILL pray with
Simeon=each night


“For my eyes=
Have SEEN your salvation” Luke 2:30


OPEN your eyes
To the EVERLASTING GLORY
Of Jesus
Open your eyes
To the REDEMTION of Jerusalem


We can PRAY Simeon's prayer
EVERY NIGHT
We can OPEN our eyes
To his EVERLASTING GLORY


And to the greater glory=that=
God wants to POUR into us


“Lord-our Lord-
How MAJESTIC-is your name
In ALL the earth!


You have set your GLORY
In the heavens” Psalm 8:1


“An ANGEL of the Lord
Appeared to them
And the GLORY of the Lord
SHONE around them.........” Luke 2:9


Dear Lord=you Let your SERVANTS=
Simeon and Anna depart in PEACE
KNOWING the LORD has come


HELP us to LIVE IN PEACE
As we OPEN OUR EYES
To HIS EVERLASTING GLORY


In Jesus' name and the name
Of his GLORIOUS FATHER
