BEING HUMBLE LIKE CHILDREN

BEING HUMBLE LIKE CHILDREN


Today=in Matthew 18=Jesus
Asks us to be HUMBLE
Like=LITTLE CHILDREN


He doesn't say anything
About being good=but
Asks us to be CHILDLIKE


“Whoever becomes HUMBLE
Like this child


Is the GREATEST
In the kingdom of heaven” Matthew 18:4


Do you notice=he does
NOT say anything
About being good?


No he tells us=
To be “HUMBLE”=like a child


MOST children are not
Always good=but WHEN they
Are UNKIND or unjust


They are so HUMBLE
Especially when
They ASK to be forgiven


They instinctively TRUST
In the POWER OF LOVE


“Take my yoke
Upon you=and learn from me


For I am gentle
And HUMBLE in heart
And you will
FIND REST for your souls” Matthew 11:29


“For all those
Who exalt themselves
Will be HUMBLED


And those
Who HUMBLE themselves
Will be exalted” Luke 18:14


BE HUMBLE=LIKE CHILDREN


The majority of us
BELIEVE in eternal life=and
In the kingdom of HEAVEN


And when we TRUST FULLY
In GOD'S LOVE
For each person


We can be sure
That even our lack of HUMILTY
Will be Forgiven


We should try
To LIVE in humility
We should try
To be honest and sincere and
HUMBLE and CHILDLIKE


“The wolf will LIVE
With the lam
The leopard
Will lie down
With the goat


The calf and the lion
And the yearling together


And a LITTLE CHILD
WILL LEAD THEM” Isaiah 11:6


“At that time
The disciples came to Jesus
And ASKED=
'Who then
IS the greatest
In the kingdom of heaven?' Matthew 18:1


“He called a LITTLE
CHILD to him and PLACED
The CHILD among them” Matthew 18:2


The INVITATION to HEAVEN
Asks us to LOVE=forgive
And BE HUMBLE
LIKE A CHILD


Let us BEGIN today
WITH BEING HUMBLE
