THE COURAGE TO ASK
FOR WISDOM


SOLOMON was a GREAT KING=
He was the=SON OF DAVID=
“A man after GOD'S OWN HEART”= Acts 13:22


And when God told Solomon
He could have ANYHTING
That he wanted


He had the
COURAGE TO ASK FOR WISDOM


“That night God appeared
To Solomon and said=
To him=
'ASK for whatever you
WANT ME to give you'” 2 Chronicles 1:7


“Solomon answered God=
'Give me WISDOM and KNOWLEDGE
That I may
LEAD this people


For who
Is able
To govern this
GREAT PEOPLE OF YOURS?'” 2 Chronicles 1:10


Dear LORD=Solomon was a
GREAT KING=with much wisdom=
He wrote the PROVERBS
And many other WISE sayings


Help us to TURN to you
Like Solomon=when we NEED
WISDOM in LIFE


After all
What is MORE important
Than “wisdom and knowledge?”


“WISDOM has sent out
Her maidens=she
CALLS from the heights
Over the city


'Let whoever is SIMPLE
Turn in here
To the ONE


Who lacks understanding
She says=
'Come-eat of my food.........'” Proverbs 9:3-5


“The fear of the Lord
Is the BEGINNING
OF WISDOM


And who follows
His precepts
Have good UNDERSTANDING


To him=belongs=
Eternal praise” Psalm 111:10


Dear Lord=give us the COURAGE
To ASK FOR WISDOM
Like our great KING Solomon


There is a great EXAMPLE
Of Solomon's WISDOM
In 1 KINGS


Two prostitutes=each
Had a baby=but ONE
Of the baby's died


ONE'S bay was alive=
And one's was dead=
But whose was whose


Solomon said to CUT
The baby in half


“The woman whose son
Was ALIVE was deeply MOVED
OUT OF LOVE
For her son
And said to the King=
'Please my Lord=give her
The LIVING BABY!=DON'T KILL HIM'” 1 KINGS 3:26


So Solomon GAVE her the
BABY saying=
“GIVE the LIVING
Baby to the first woman=
Do NOT kill him=
SHE IS HIS MOTHER” 1 Kings 3:27


Dear GOD OF WISDOM=please
Give us WISDOM like King Solomon


As we OPEN ourselves
To your TRUTH


In the names of Jesus=and HIS FATHER=
THE LIVING GOD OF WISDOM
