WE ARE THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD


Today is the FEAST DAY
Of Saint Clare=whose name
Means=”BRIGHT-CLEAR-LIGHT”=and


In addition to being a SAINT=
My Godchild Stephanie=who was BORN
On August 11th=chose the name of
Clare as her CONFIRMATION NAME


So=SAINT Clare=will always be EXTRA SPECIAL
To me=as IS my niece=and godchild=STEPHANIE


“And keep watch
To SEE
What he will SAY to me.........” Habakkuk 2:1


And let us always KEEP LOOKING
To see the LIGHT=for Jesus
Told us=
“WE ARE THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD”


“You are the
LIGHT of the world


A town on a hill
CANNOT be hidden
Neither do people


Light a lamp
And put it
Under a bowl


INSTEAD they put it
On its stand
And it gives LIGHT
To everyone
In the house


In the SAME way
Let your LIGHT
SHINE before others


That they may see
Your good deeds
And GLORIFY your Father
In heaven” Matthew 5:14-16


YES=like Jesus said=
WE are the LIGHT
Of the world
And we should
SHINE=SHINE=SHINE


The question is:
HOW much LIGHT are we
GOING to throw out?


There are SOME days that I
Feel so GREAT=I feel like
The SUN=or a flashing
NEON LIGHT=shining the GOSPEL
For all to see


We are THE LIGHT
Of the world


Then there are OTHER days
That I feel=ONLY like a
FLASHLIGHT=shining in the CORNERS
Of the room=in the house
FOR MY FAMILY


Or a street light shining on
The street=for the
NEIGHBORS to see


The point is: we are the LIGHT
Of the world=and WHATEVER light
We have that particular day
We are to SHINE FOR OTHERS


“In him was LIFE
And that life
Was the LIGHT
Of ALL mankind


The LIGHT
SHINES in the darkness
And the darkness
Has NOT overcome it” John 1:4-5


Well whatever LIGHT that we are
We CAN SHINE for others
Even it it is just putting
A little light=in a
HOPELESS SITUATION


Saint Clare=our
“BRIGHT CLEAR LIGHT”


Help us REALIZE
We are
THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD


In Jesus' name=and in the name of the DIVINE FATHER=
THE TRUE LIGHTS=OF THE UNIVERSE
