NO GUARANTEES IN LIFE!


We are all looking
For that SURE THING
In life=for that
Certain thing


But there are
NO GUARANTEES IN LIFE!


“Take care to guard
Against all GREED


For though
One may be rich
ONE'S LIFE


Does NOT consist
Of possessions” Luke 12:15


Today Jesus tells us
A parable
About a man


Who tore down
His barns
And BUILT bigger ones
To SECURE his possessions


Jesus gives us
A CLEAR TEACHING
About greed and selfishness


“Turn my heart
Toward statutes
And not toward
SELFISH GAIN” Psalm 119:36


“An unfriendly person
Pursues SELFISH ENDS


And against all
Sound judgment
Starts quarrels” Proverbs 18:1


“For where you
Have envy
And SELFISH AMBITION


There you find disorder
And every evil practice” James 3:16


The man had
Bountiful crops
And the barns
Were big enough
To STORE
ALL of his grain


He could have GIVEN
His over abundance
To others=and SHARED


But the man
THOUGHT only about himself
And his super abundance of wealth


He considered his POSSESSIONS
His SECURITY=
But it was
A FALSE SECURITY


There are NO GUARANTEES
IN THIS LIFE!


“He anointed us
Set his seal of ownership
On us


And put his SPIRIT
In our hearts
As a deposit


GUARANTEEING what
Is to come” 2 Corinthians 1:22


The big barns parable
TEACHES US
That wealth is
NOT a guarantee
For a happy life


Because the man
LOST HIS LIFE
That very night


There is ONLY one heaven
And this earth
Is not it


THE ULTIMATE SUCCESS
In life
Is NOT your material possessions


But what is
IN YOUR HEART


Your love/OUR love
For GOD AND OTHERS


There are=
NO GUARANTEES IN THIS LIFE!
