For the Love of Us All

THREE KINDS OF INSEPARABLE LOVE


There are BASICALLY three kinds
OF LOVE


LOVE of God=
And Love of NEIGHBOR=the
First two commandments


And of course=
LOVE of self
They are basically ALL INSEPARABLE
And we should live
IN ACCORDANCE with all three


“And who is MY NEIGHBOR?” Luke 10:29


A SCHOLAR of the law
Asked Jesus what he must do
To inherit eternal life


Jesus prodded him-
The scholar then said
“LOVE the Lord your God
With all your heart


An with all your soul
And with all your strength
And with all YOUR MIND'
And
'Love your neighbor as YOURSELF'” Luke 10:27


Jesus tells him
That he is correct


Then the scholar asks
“WHO is my neighbor?”


Jesus RESPONDS with the
Great parable
Of the GOOD SAMARITAN


EVERYONE is my neighbor
LOVE OF GOD=
Love of neighbor=
Love of myself
ALL INSEPARABLE


Love moves us into
A DEEPER RELATIONSHIP
With all of life=
Our love is inseparable
THREE IN ONE


UNFORTUNATELY in today's world
Many of us have only
The LOVE OF OURSELVES


Any effort to OPEN
Our hearts
To the PRESENCE OF GOD


Is free and liberating
And LEARNING to love our neighbor
Is at the same time
Learning to LOVE GOD


“LOVE the Lord your God
And keep his requirements-
His decrees


His laws
And his commands ALWAYS” Deuteronomy 11:1


“I LOVE you Lord
My strength” Psalm 18:1


The LOVE for ourselves
DEEPENS=as we learn
To love God
And our neighbor
MORE AND MORE


OPEN your hearts
LOVE GOD=love your neighbor
And you will NATURALLY
Love yourself more


“I will OPEN my mouth
With a PARABLE


I will utter hidden things
Things from of old-------” Psalm 78:2


Dear Lord=
In the parable
Of the GOOD SAMARITAN


You taught us
What TRUE LOVE really means


Help us to UNDERSTAND
That the true neighbor
Is one
WHO SHOWS MERCY
To ALL OTHERS
