THE GRACE OF REPENTANCE

THE GRACE OF REPENTANCE

Are you SORRY
For any of the DECISIONS
You have made
IN your life?

There is NOT a lot=
But I have a few things
I would have
DONE DIFFERENTLY=in retrospect

THE GRACE OF REPENTANCE!

“When the news
REACHED the king of Nineveh
He rose from his throne

Laid aside his robe
Covered himself with sackcloth
And sat in the ashes” Jonah 3:6

Can you JUST IMAGINE
A man sitting
On a crowded street corner
HOLDING a sign that says=
“THE END IS NEAR?”

Going into a REPENTANCE mode=
That is what is going on
With the kind of Nineveh
“REPENTANCE MODE”

Sometimes we need to
Stop and be SORRY
For some things
In our life

Sometimes we need to stop
And REFLECT AND LISTEN
For the SOUND of Jesus' voice
THE GRACE OF REPENTANCE!

“In REPENTANCE and rest
Is your salvation

In quietness and trust
Is your strength
But you would have
NONE of it” Isaiah 30:15

“I have declared
To both Jews and Greeks
That they
Must TURN to God
In REPENTANCE

And have faith
In our Lord Jesus” Acts 20:21

“Godly sorrow BRINGS REPENTANCE
That leads to salvation
And leaves no regret

But worldly sorrow
Brings death” 2 Corinthians 7:10

It is OK to
Make mistakes in life
As long as we
Are doing OUR BEST

And wishing NO ONE
Ill will
We are not perfect
We ARE HUMAN!

We make the BEST decisions
We can
At the time

Today we read about
Jesus' GENTLE REBUKE of Martha
Who is encouraged to BE
More like Mary=and listen
To Jesus=to his VERY WORDS

“Martha-Martha'=the Lord answered=
'You are worried and upset
About many things

But few things are NEEDED--------
Or indeed ONLY ONE

Mary has chosen
What is better
And it will NOT
Be taken away from her'” Luke 10:41-42

So let us all
MAKE the best decisions
We can=and move forward
With the GRACE OF REPENTANCE
When we have done wrong

And move forward
With the WORDS OF JESUS

In Jesus' name=and in the name=of our FOREVER TEACHING FATHER!
