PRAYING AND PLANNING LIKE OUR JESUS!
Jesus PRAYED every day=and he
PLANNED for things=
He was a lot more
Like you and me
Than you know=except he was DIVINE
“He told his disciples
To have a boat
READY for him
So they=would not crush him” Mark 3:9
Don't you just love
All the DETAILS
That are in the gospel
I appreciate
That he thinks ahead
That he plans
He REACHES out to the MULTITUDES
And responds to our HUMANITY
And yet he has a CONTINGENCY PLAN
Like we should all have=
We should all PLAN
And PRAY=just like our Jesus
“Many= Lord=my God
Are the wonders=you have done
The things you
PLANNED for us” Psalm 40:5
“What I have said-
That I will bring about
What I have PLANNED=
That I will do” Isaiah 46:11
“........since God
Had PLANNED something better
For us
So that only together
With us=would they be made perfect” Hebrews 11:40
That is the WAY
Jesus was=that is the way
Our Lord our God is
ALWAYS PLANNING=always praying
To make our world better
I have to BELIEVE
That even now=with the Corona virus
And this totally mixed up world
That God=that Jesus
IS PRAYING=is planning
To make
Something better of this world
This teacher Jesus
GOES into the mountains
To pray=before attempting
To handle it=on his own
When pressed=this God-Man Jesus
Withdraws with his disciples=
He PRAYS=as we should all do
“This then=
Is how you should PRAY=
'Our Father=in heaven
HALLOWED be thy name'” Matthew 6:9
“In the same way
The Spirit helps us
In our weakness
We do not know
What we ought to
PRAY for
But the SPIRIT himself
Intercedes for us
Through wordless groans” Romans 8:26
JESUS PRAYS=JESUS PLANS
Jesus set boundaries=
And so should we
He is our example=
He is OURS TO IMITATE
PRAYING AND PLANNING=just
Like our Jesus
In Jesus' name=guided by our HOLY FATHER GOD!
