WE ARE INCLUDED!
My mom used to say=
“LOVE draws a circle
And pulls people in=and
Hate draws a circle
And PUSHES people out”
She never said WHERE she
Got this philosophy=but I think
She got it=FROM JESUS
For in Jesus' own words-
Today we read=
“'Your mother and your brothers
And your sisters-
Are outside-asking for you'
But he said........
'WHO are my mother and my brothers?'
And looking around
At those seated in the CIRCLE=he said
'HERE are my mother
And my brothers=for whoever
Does the WILL of God-
Is my brother and sister
And mother'” Mark 3:32-35
And I have TRIED
To make that
Part of MY ON PHILOSOPHY
To the BEST=of my ability
IF we do
The will of God=
WE ARE INCLUDED
In God's own family
I wonder if Mary was HURT=
Hearing Jesus' response
But this is NOT
About rejection=this is about
BEING INCLUDED
In God's own FAMILY
It is about=doing the WORD of God=
It is about=ACTING-
On the Word of God
If we do=we are INCLUDED!
In God's own family
“Your throne=O God
Will last forever=and ever
A scepter of justice
Will be the scepter=OF YOUR KINGDOM” Psalm 45:6
“In those days=John the Baptist
Came preaching=in the wilderness
Of Judea
And saying=
'Repent-the KINGDOM
Of heaven has come near'” Matthew3:2
“Nation will rise against nation=
And KINGDOM against kingdom” Matthew 24:7
But if we KEEP
The Word of God=
We are a brother and sister
Of Jesus=
We belong to him-
And to his FAMILY
Forever and ever
“Truly-I tell you
This generation-will certainly
NOT pass away
Until all these things=have happened
Heaven and earth=will pass away
But MY WORDS
Will never pass away” Matthew 24:35
WE ARE ALL INCLUDED!
As part of GOD'S FAMILY=
If we do
The will of God
Mary=more than any other person=
Whoever lived-
“DID THE WILL OF GOD”
We are INCLUDED! as part of
Jesus' family=and Mary's
In Jesus' name=and in the name=and in the WILL of our ever HOLY FATHER GOD!
