FOLLOWING THE PATH OF LIFE

 

FOLLOWING THE PATH OF LIFE

Or  (Don’t let your interruptions stop you)

 

Tomorrow=February 6^th, it will be

67 years=since I was BAPTIZED

As an INFANT=at Saint Andrews Catholic Church

In Pittsburgh, Pa.

I also have had=SEVERAL RENEWALS since then

 

God wants us to LIVE

A life=focused on him=but we

WILL have roadblocks=setbacks

And INTERRUPTIONS=along the way

 

STAY on the PATH to life=FOLLOW

The PATH TO GOD=and family

 

“Teach me your way=Lord

Lead me=IN A STRAIGHT PATH

Because of my oppressors”                                                                                                Psalm 27:11

 

But the TRUTH=of the matter

IS=none of us are

ON a straight path

 

We all get interrupted

We all face SETBACKS

In our life=but we

HAVE TO FOLLOW

The road=that OUR GOD

Puts us on

 

“Surely your goodness and love

WILL FOLLOW ME

All the days=of my life”                                                                                                     Psalm 23:6

 

“When Jesus spoke again

To the people=he said’=

 

‘I am the light

Of the world=WHOEVER FOLLOWS ME

 

Will never walk in darkness

But will have=

The light of life’”                                                                                                              John 8:12

 

Jesus had the ULTIMATE interruption=

Death and crucifixion=but

NOT even that=could

Stop his quest

TO CHANGE THE WORLD

 

Paul hated Christians=

Talk about ROAD BLOCKS

And interruptions=but he went on

TO BE

The greatest EVANGELIST=of all time

With the EXCEPTION OF JESUS

 

Noah was a FARMER=

But God called him

TO BUILD an ark=and save the world

 

What is HOLDING YOU BACK

From your LOVE of God=and family?

NOTHING you could ever experience

Could be a GREATER INTERRUPTION

Than these men faced

FOLLOW THE PATH OF LIFE=TO GOD!

Let nothing separate you=FROM GOD’S LOVE

 

“For I am CONVINCED=

That neither death nor life=

Neither angels nor demons=

Neither the present

 

Nor the future=nor any powers=

Neither height nor depth=

Nor anything else=in all creation

Will be able=TO SEPARATE US

From the love of God=

That is in=Christ Jesus=our Lord”                                                                                                 Romans 8:38-39

 

I wanted a family=a career

But I wound up=since I am 22

With a life=DEDICATED TO God and Christ

FOLLOW THE PATH OF LIFE!

 

In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our EVERLASTING=ever loving=Holy Father God
