MARY=THE MIRACLE CONTINUES
We all KNOW sin=
ENTERED the world
Through the eating of the forbidden fruit=
By Eve and Adam
But the problem was CORRECTED
With the YES of Mary
To the ANGEL=through the IMMACILATE CONCEPTION
And then we have today’s FOLLOW UP of
Our Lady of Lourdes
MARY=THE MIRACLE CONTINUES
“The man replied’=
‘The WOMAN whom you
Put here with me=
She gave me=FRUIT
From the tree=so I ate it’”
Genesis
3:12
But then you have
MARY’S YES=to the angel
“I am the LORD’S SERVANT’
Mary answered=
‘May YOUR WORD to me
Be fulfilled’
Then the angel=left her”
Luke
1:38
FAST FORWARD many many years
To today’s feast
OUR LADY OF LOURDES=in 1858
MARY=THE MIRACLE CONTINUES
Mary’s virtue is REVEALED
As a sidelight=to this story
MY OWN MIRACLE
Coincides with this feast day=WALKING OUT
Of the hospital=this day=after being
GIVEN UP for dead
Mine is NOT recognized
By the CHURCH=but there
Have been over seventy RECOGNIZED MIRACLES
At Lourdes, France
“You are the God=
WHO PERFORMS MIRACLES=
You display your power
Among the peoples”
Psalm 77:14
“Fellow Israelites=listen to this’=
‘Jesus of Nazareth=was a man
Accredited by God
TO YOU BY MIRACLES=wonders and signs
Which God did among you
Through him=as you yourselves know’”
Acts 2:22
And Mary=WAS HIS MOTHER
The YES to God=began with her
MARY=THE MIRACLE CONTINUES!
In 1858=a young girl=named Bernadette
Was visited=by a lovely lady
Through apparitions=it was AUTHENTICATED
The lady Mary=
Answered the young Bernadette with
“I AM THE IMMACULATE CONCEPTION”
Today=ALL of humanity
Can REJOICE=in a love
SO PURE=as the Mother Mary
“Create in me=A PURE HEART
O God=and renew a steadfast spirit
Within me” Psalm
51:10
God SELECTED Mary to be
The Mother of Jesus
And to be=the SPIRITUAL MOTHER
Of us all
MOTHER MARY=
THE MIRACLE CONTINUES!
In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of Our Holy Family=and our
Holy Father God!
