HEAL OUR BLINDNESSES!=

Our Dear Lord

 

Today we READ=

About the PHYSICAL HEALING

Of a blind man=in the old world

 

AT FIRST=the man

Can’t see=then Jesus

DOES it a second time=

And HIS SIGHT becomes clear

 

“He looked up and said’=

‘I see people=they look like trees

WALKING AROUND’”                                                                                                           Mark 8:24

 

“The Jesus laid hands=

On the man’s eyes=A SECOND TIME

And he saw clearly’”                                                                                                          Mark 8:25

 

IF it were only

So easy for us

 

WE ARE ALL BLIND

To see so many things

In our world

 

To crime=to POVERTY=

To many many INJUSTICES=and

What is actually happening

 

Dear Lord=

We pray=for your HEALING TOUCH

In today’s world=

We are BLIND to so much=Dear Lord

HELP OUR BLINDNESSES!

 

“Leave them=they are BLIND GUIDES=

If the BLIND

Lead the blind=both will fall

Into a pit”                                                                                                                                      Mark 15:14

 

“He replied=

‘Whether he is a sinner=

Or not=I do not know

 

One thing=I do know=

I WAS BLIND=but now I see!’”                                                                                          John 9:25

 

And isn’t that

The WAY=that it is

For all of us

 

We do NOT KNOW

Who committed what sins=

Yet we set ourselves=AS JUDGES   

For one another

 

Dear Lord=we PRAY

That you HELP us all

In this sometimes=cold-cruel world

 

To love one another=and not

To be SO BLIND=to each other’s needs

Both individually and collectively

Lord=HEAL OUR BLINDNESSES!

 

“I said=’Have mercy

On me Lord=HEAL ME=for

I have sinned against you’”                                                                                                      Psalm 41:4

 

“And the power

Of the Lord=was with him

TO HEAL=the sick”                                                                                                                  Luke 5:17

 

Jesus brought INTIMACY

And care=to this man

He wanted=A PRIVATE MOMENT

With him

 

As he wants PRIVATE MOMENTS

With us=and with OUR HEARTS

 

Jesus is OUR BEST FRIEND

YOUR BEST FRIEND=let him take you

Take us BY THE HAND=and HEAL OUR BLINDNESSES!

 

Dear Lord=HEAL OUR BLINDNESSES!=

To each other=in this often cruel world

That we live in

 

In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our forever loving=and HEALING=Holy Father God!
