LIVING IN=A PEACEFUL WAY
We are SUPPOSED
To be living in America=
A good Christian/Catholic country
You Couldn’t tell it
From the NUMBER of crimes=
Murders=rapes=robberies
NOT to mention=ALL
The civil suits
After Jesus BEGAN
HIS PUBLIC MINISTRY=he gave us
THE FAMOUS=Sermon on the Mount
And in it=he said
“SETTLE with your opponent quickly=
WHILE on the way=to court”
Matthew 5:25
Jesus also SPOKE
About prayer=LOVE=and discipleship
He told us
TO LIVE=IN A PEACEFUL WAY
Yet it is
NOT HAPPENING too much
In this world
WHERE IS THE LOVE?
“GREAT PEACE=
Have those who love
Your law
And nothing=
CAN make them stumble” Psalm
119:165
“He will=
PROCLAIM PEACE=to the nations
His rule will extend
From sea to sea=and from the River
To the ends of the earth”
Zechariah
9:10
Jesus told his followers
To settle their disputes
IN A PEACEFUL WAY
Without going to court
For a court=or a judge
MAY suspend strict judgment=IMPOSING
A prison sentence
Or a severe fine
LIVE IN=A PEACEFUL WAY
And TRY to resolve your differences
BETWEEN the two of you
“PEACE=I leave with you=
MY PEACE I give you=I do not
Give to you=as the world gives”
John 14:27
Jesus says we
Should RESOLVE our disputes
Among us
And if we need=FURTHER HELP
To get a friend
Or go to THE CHURCH=For the solution
“IF your brother=or sister
Sins against you=
Go and point out=their fault
Just between=THE TWO OF YOU
If they listen to you=
You have=won them over”
Matthew 18:15
There are many many=FRIVOLOUS LAWSUITS
In our country today
There will always be DISPUTES
Among us=we just need to
Live out of more love
And LIVE IN=A PEACEFUL WAY
In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our FOREVER LIVING=FOREVER
LOVING=and forever PEACEFUL
