CLOSER AND CLOSER=
(To our God)!
Let us face it=as we AGE
Our BODIES=do not work
As well=as they once did
When we are YOUNG=our bodies
Work great=we have STRENGTH and
Energy=and we have enthusiasm
FOR ALL THINGS NEW
But what we can do=AT AGE 20
We cannot do=at age 40=and at 60
WE CAN’T Do=what we could do=at 40
We are=MOVING
CLOSER AND CLOSER=TO OUR GOD!
“Who will deliver me=
FROM THIS MORTAL BODY?”
Romans 7:24
But let us=also FACE IT=as
We get older=all things=are NOT BAD
We get=MORE WISE=we get more guile
We get by=ON our perseverance and
OUR SMARTS
There are SOME BLESSINGS
With this AGING=and we get
CLOSER AND CLOSE=To our God!
“Is not wisdom found=
AMONG THE AGING=does not
Life bring understanding?”
Job 12:12
“For the perishable=must
Clothe itself=with the imperishable
And the mortal=with immortality”
1 Corinthians 15:53
YES=AGING
Can be a blessing too=Moving
CLOSER AND CLOSER=to our God!
We get CLOSER AND CLOSER
To our Jesus=we PREPARE OURSELVES
To FACE all of eternity
With Jesus=and our Holy Father God!
What a GIFT=what a blessing
That that is=our slowing down
Our ailments=are the BLESSINGS
And will prepare us=for
ALL OF ETERNITY=with our Lord
Getting a little slower=but
Getting a LITTLE WISER=as we get
CLOSER AND CLOSER=to our God
Through this aging
“One who=has unreliable friends
Comes to ruin=but there is a FRIEND
Who sticks CLOSER=than a brother”
Proverbs 18:24
“He tends his flock=like
A shepherd=he gathers the lambs
In his arms=and
Carries them=CLOSE to his heart
He gently leads those=who have young”
Isaiah 40:11
Yes each year=THAT WE AGE
We are getting=CLOSER AND CLOSER
(To our God)!
Closer to his UNFAILING LOVE=
Closer to his strength=closer to be
MORE WITH GOD
We are getting=CLOSER AND CLOSER
To our ever LOVING=Holy Father God
And his SON=Jesus Christ
