For the Love of Us All

THE IMMACULATE CONCEPTION

Today is the feast day

Of The Immaculate Conception

The day we honor Mary

For giving birth to Jesus

For saying YES TO GOD

When all others

Would have said no

As far as I know

There have been NO OTHER virgin births

But I would like to PAY tribute

To ALL those women

Who have spent their life

DEVOTED to their family       ( including my own mom )

And devoted to their children

And to all the women who have tried

MARY

Mary was a woman

Of pure grace

She said yes

When all others

Would have said no

Today-Mary-on your feast day

We thank you

For your faith

We thank you

For your pure grace

And MOST of all

We thank you

For saying yes

When all others

Would have said no
