LOVE OVERCOMES=HAPPY EASTER! Jesus was rejected By his very own people By the people Of his-very own town Jesus gives us GOD GIVES us his LOVE Which Peter tells us IS better than Silver or gold Peter tells a crippled man, “Silver or gold I do not have But what I have I give to you In the name Of Jesus Christ” Acts 3:6 The crippled man, “LEAPT up-stood-and walked around And went to the temple with them Walking and jumping AND PRAISING GOD” Acts 3:8 God’s strength-GOD’S POWER Comes from PERFECT LOVE How else Could he have RESURRECTED LOVE OVERCOMES “Don’t be alarmed,” he said, ‘You are looking for Jesus The Nazarene Who was crucified He is RISEN He is not here See the place WHERE they laid him But go TELL the disciples and Peter He is going ahead of you Into Galilee There you will see him Just as he told you’” Mark 16:6-8 Jesus is VICTORIUS OVER THE GRAVE! LOVE OVERCOMES And God’s love Jesus Christ’s love CAN OVERCOME the demons Of our own life WE can be paralyzed In our personal lives By resentment-regret-and LOSSES of any kind Hatred CRIPPLES US But this story says That HEALING is possible In the POWER OF GOD The power of Jesus THE POWER OF LOVE “And this is The commandment That we have from him That he who loves God ALSO LOVES HIS BROTHER” 1 John 4:21 MAYBE IF we do this We will OVERCOME OUR 21st century Fears-resentment-and hatred And we will WALK TOGETHER Through the beautiful GATES OF HEAVEN JUMPING-DANCING-and PRAISING GOD HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE!
