A LEGACY OF LOVE


WE all want to LEAVE
Something BEHIND from our life=
Something-a legacy- anything- that
Will BENEFIT MANKIND


For most of us-it is OUR FAMILIES-
Our CHILDREN-and I am OK-
With that


Even though I have no spouse
Or children of my own


For I have had the GREATEST parents=
The greatest sisters=the greatest BFF &
FRIENDS= that a man could
Ever have=
And EXTENDED FAMILY too


Today we read about a man
That I like=Gamaliel=
A Pharisee


He makes a STRONG CASE=that
If something has an origin of man
-It will not last


But if it is FROM God
Then you do not want
To be fighting against God


He says-in other words
“WAIT & SEE”


“But a Pharisee-in the Sanhedrin
….....A teacher of the law
RESPECTED by all people


Stood up........
And said to them
'Fellow Israelites
Be CAREFUL what you
ARE about to do
To these men'” Acts 5:34-35


“BUT if it is from God
You will NOT be able
To stop these men


You will FIND YOURSELF
Fighting against God” Acts 5:39


CHRIST left a LEGACY OF LOVE
God leaves-the apostles left=a legacy
OF LOVE


I hope=in some SMALL WAY=
MY FAMILY=and I=and you as well
ARE leaving a legacy of LOVE
That will last FOREVER and ever


WHO wants to fight against God-
Against Christ-fight a battle that-
You CAN NEVER win


“This is what the Lord says-
Israel's King and REDEEMER-the Lord Almighty


I am the first and I am
THE LAST
Apart from me-there is NO GOD” Psalm 44:6


BUILD your legacy
By LOVING God-by loving your FAMILY
And others-
BELIEVE what Gamaliel says
And it WILL LAST


BUILD A LEGACY OF LOVE


“But many who are first
Will be last


And many who are last
Will be FIRST” Matthew 19:30


Our culture does NOT
Work that way-we want
Immediate results


In today's world-Gamaliel's suggestion
Would not be popular-
Who wants to WAIT AND SEE


Yet there is something “godly”
About this Gamaliel


HOW LONG did it take
For the universe to happen?
SPRING comes gradually-and
It takes nine months for a baby
To be born


It takes a LONG TIME
To BUILD a LEGACY OF LOVE


But if it is from God
it will LAST FOREVER & EVER


And it will be a FAMILY
As well as a LEGACY OF LOVE


Like Christ-like CHRIST'S FAMILY=
THE HOLY FAMILY OF LOVE
