SHARING HIS LOVE

SHARING HIS LOVE


The disciples of Jesus
Had been with him several years


They saw healing-they saw
Miracles-yet they were SLOW
To grasp-
What he was TRYING
To teach them


But after the RESURRECTION-
There were no words of rebuke=ONLY words
Of peace=that REVEALED his LOVE
For them


“The disciples REJOICED
When they saw the Lord


Jesus said to them again-
'PEACE BE WITH YOU'” John 20:20-21


UNCHANGING LOVE was Jesus' GIFT
To his disciples-and that IS
The same gift-he has-
For us today


His love for us-
Is ALWAYS there-regardless-
Of what state
Our lives are in


And our mission-is-
To SHARE that same love of Christ-
With others


That he SHARES with us=that SAME
UNCHANGING-everlasting-UNCONDITIONAL LOVE


“The generous WILL themselves
BE BLESSED


For they SHARE their food
With the poor” Proverbs 22:9


“ALL the BELIEVERS
Were ONE in heart
And mind


No one claimed
That ANY of their possessions
Was their own


But they SHARED everything
They had” Acts 4:32


“NOW if we are children-
Then we are heirs-


HEIRS of God
And co-heirs with Christ


If indeed
We SHARE in his suffering
In order that we may


Also SHARE in HIS GLORY” Romans 8:17


The place that is
WITHIN US-grows
When we share his LOVE
With others


Jesus asks us
To BE his followers


But we can ONLY be
His followers
WHEN we do
What he does


DO what Jesus does
SHARE THE LOVE-
BE his followers


“SURELY your goodness
And LOVE will FOLLOW ME
ALL the days of my life


And I will DWELL
In the house of the Lord-
FOREVER” Psalm 23:6


It is NOT EASY
To be a FOLLOWER of Christ


But Jesus' POWER-constantly-
FLOWS through us-enabling us-
To LOVE ALL as he does


That allows us to be TRANSFORMED-
Give HOPE to others
And continuously-SHARE HIS LOVE
