FINDING PEACE IN THIS WORLD=IN THIS LIFE

FINDING PEACE IN THIS WORLD=

IN THIS LIFE

 

ARE you at PEACE?  Do you

LIVE your life

With a PEACEFUL ATTITUDE?

 

If so-GOOD for you-PEACE-

Is so HARD to attain=

That it is ONE of the things

That Jesus GAVE to us

 

And CONTINUES to give to us-

IF we are attempting

To be ONE with him

 

“PEACE I leave with you=

My peace I GIVE to you”                                                                                                                  John 14:27

 

Peace is so DIFFICULT to obtain

That Pope Paul VI once said:

 

“PEACE is great-

Peace is wonderful

 

Peace is the OBJECT

Of much search

Of much devotion

 

It IS very difficult-

EXTREMELY difficult-but-

NOT IMPOSSIBLE”

 

Yes=NOT IMPOSSIBLE=POSSIBLE=if

WE are living our lives

In the confines of God-

Of Jesus=and of LOVE

 

We will NEVER FIND PEACE

In material things-in sex=or

IN any sexual perversion-

Or EVEN in ANY of the addictions

Of this world

 

We can FIND PEACE-ONLY-

In God=only in Jesus

 

“CONSIDER the blameless-

Observe the upright

 

A FUTURE awaits those

Who SEEK PEACE”                                                                                                                               Psalm 37:37

 

“A HEART at peace-

Gives LIFE-to the body

 

But envy-rots the bones”                                                                                                             Proverbs 14:30

 

“………To SHINE

On those living in darkness

And in

 

The shadow of death

To GUIDE our feet

INTO the path of peace”                                                                                                                 Luke 1:79

 

YES my friends=you WILL

NEVER find peace in this world-

In this life

 

Without PUTTING God and Jesus=FIRST=

In your lives

 

But WHY?

Why is PEACE so difficult

To FIND=for us mere humans?

 

MY dear friends=MANY of us

Are looking for peace-

In the thing of this world

We will-

Never find peace in them

 

We must REMEMBER=we CAN find peace=

ONLY through God=

Only through Jesus

 

“I have told you

THESE things

So that IN ME-

You may have peace

 

IN this world-

You will have trouble

But TAKE HEART-

I have OVERCOME the world”                                                                                                                 John 16:33

 

And we too=WILL OVERCOME

This world-by FINDING PEACE

 

Just as SURELY as

Jesus RESURRECTED on EASTER SUNDAY

If we can BUILD our lives

In God-and in JESUS

 

PEACE is in us-it IS

With us=it is all AROUND US

WHEN we BUILD our lives

ON God and Jesus

 

Dear Lord=thank you for

HELPING US-find PEACE in this world=

In this life

 

The PEACE OF A CHILD=

By BELIEVING in you

Thank you LORD=for=

YOUR GIFT OF PEACE

 

In the names of Jesus=

And HIS all-knowing=all-loving
