WALKING RIGHT BESIDE US!

 

Do you WONDER WHERE God is

During the course-

Of your every day life?

Does he EVER feel

DISTANT to you?

 

Well I have some NEWS

For you

 

We ALL go through periods

In life like that=but he NEVER

Goes anywhere=sometimes=we

Become preoccupied with our life=

Sometimes we shove him down the

LIST=of our priorities in life

 

USUALLY it is us=NOT God or Jesus

That has gone somewhere=HE is RIGHT

Where he always was

 

WALKING RIGHT BESIDE US

 

“Jesus said to him-

‘Have I been with you so long

A time-and you STILL=

Do NOT KNOW me-Philip?’”                                                                                                       John 1:49

 

I HAVE to tell you

I have NEVER performed

A miracle=

I have never had

A VISION=yet I know

 

God is LIVING INSIDE of you

Inside of me

WALKING right beside us

 

“It has given me

A great joy

 

To FIND some of you children

Walking in the truth-

Just as the Father

Commanded us”                                                                                                                       2 John 1:4

 

“And this is LOVE

That we walk

In obedience-to his commands

 

As you have heard

From the beginning

His command is that

YOU WALK IN LOVE”                                                                                                                       2 John 1:6

 

How did the apostles

NOT RECOGNIZE that Jesus was Lord?

When they WALKED every step

Of the way with him

 

HOW do we not recognize

That he is love=that love=that Jesus

Should be the center of our life?

 

How do we ALL MISS

The central point of life?

How did the apostles MISS it

UNTIL after the RESURRECTION?

 

DON’T we all KNOW that God and FAMILY

Is the CENTER=or should be

The CENTER of life?

 

“Those who KNOW your name

TRUST in you

 

For you Lord

have NEVER forsaken

Those who seek you”                                                                                                                  Psalm 9:10

 

What is GREAT=is that no matter-

How many times

That we have MISSED God-

Missed Jesus in our life

 

He is right there

WALKING RIGHT BESIDE US!

 

Mary Magdalene mistook Jesus=

For the gardener=the disciples

ON the road to Emmaus=

Did NOT RECOGNIZE him

 

WE think money=we think sex=

Or we think some addiction

Will bring us HAPPINESS

 

We MISTAKE him for someone

Or something else=

Time and time again

 

BUT he never gives up

On us=he is

ALWAYS right there

WALKING RIGHT BESIDE US!

 

It is a lesson

That we OFTEN have to relearn

 

God=JESUS=LOVES US=and he is

The ONE that we NEED=the ONE

Who is ALWAYS THERE

 

WALKING RIGHT BESIDE US!
