FINDING THE WAY THROUGH JESUS

 

How do we FIND

Our way in life?

How do we KNOW

Which decisions to make?

In what DIRECTION to go?

 

The TRUTH IS:  We NEVER do

For sure=but for me=STAYING

As close to God and Jesus=making

Godly decisions=MAKES it

A little easier to FIND THE WAY

 

FINDING THE WAY

THROUGH JESUS

 

“Thomas said to him=’Master-

We do NOT yet know-

Where you are going

 

How can we know the WAY?’”                                                                                                                    John 14:5

 

But Jesus KNEW=he ALWAYS knew

Where he was-

He always knew

WHERE he was going

 

By STAYING CLOSE to God

Staying close to Jesus-we can-

FIND our way through

THIS mine field=we can make-

MAKE it all the way HOME-

Just to FIND God and Jesus

WAITING for us

 

“TEACH me your way Lord-

That I may RELY

On your faithfulness

 

GIVE me an undivided heart

That I may fear your name”                                                                                                                     Psalm 86:11

 

“THIS is what the Lord says-

Your REDEEMER=the Holy One

Of Israel=

 

‘I AM the Lord your God

Who teaches you

What is BEST FOR YOU

 

Who directs you

In the WAY

You should go’”                                                                                                                                    Isaiah 48:17

 

FINDING the way THROUGH JESUS

 

In the early 20^th century

Our forefathers made their way

OVER from Europe

 

IRELAND in the case

Of my own FAMILY

 

They would find a job

And PREPARE a new home

For their families-THEN-

SEND for them

 

Similarly-Jesus-told the apostles-

And others=That he would

GO away=and PREPARE a place

For them

 

So that they could

MAKE there way to a NEW LIFE

In a brand new world

 

We CANNOT find our way

With a road map=a GPS=

Or a flight plan

 

We can FIND OUR WAY-

ONLY through the teachings of Jesus

 

“ASK and it will be given

To you-

Seek-and you will find-

KNOCK=and the door

Will be OPENED to you”                                                                                                                        Matthew 7:7

 

“TAKE my yoke upon you

And LEARN from me

For I am GENTLE and humble in heart

 

And you will FIND REST

For your souls

 

For my yoke is easy

And my burden is LIGHT”                                                                                                            Matthew 11:29-30

 

We FIND our way

ONLY THROUGH Jesus

 

HE has gone before us-and-

He WILL SEND for us

 

And BRING us

To OUR ETERNAL HOME
