NOT A SIGN OF OUR TIMES
Jesus gave EVERYTHING
Of himself=for us
He GAVE us his LIFE=
And he gave it
FOR FREE
And he TOLD us=
"Without COST you have received
Without cost you are
TO GIVE"                                                                                                                         Matthew 10:8
Since Jesus did it=as
CHRISTIANS we are
To do the SAME
Unfortunately=GRATITUDE is
NOT a SIGN
Of our times
In this world today
So MUCH comes to us
In this world
WITHOUT COST
Our parents take CARE of us
We are EDUCATED by society
And we are given a PLETHORA
Of OPPORTUNITIES=
To try to make
Our WAY=in this world
Yet many of us think
We are SELF-MADE men=
Or self-made WOMEN
What about the COST
To others?
What about the HELP
That we RECEIVED
Along the way?
"The beginning of wisdom
Is this=get wisdom
Though it COST all you
Have=get UNDERSTANDING"                                                                                         Proverbs 4:7
Don't be like others
BE GRATEFUL for all
The HELP you have received
Even though gratitude
Is NOT A SIGN
Of our times
MAKE it a SIGN
Of your life
"Suppose one of you
Wants to BUILD a tower
Won't you first sit down
And estimate the COST
To see if you have
Enough money=to COMPLETE IT?                                                                                              Luke 14:28
We LIVE in a world
With prosperity
That would ASTOUND previous generations
I think GOD would LOVE
To see us HELP OTHERS
I think God would like us
To be GRATEFUL and WILLING
To SHARE with others
Who are NOT SO BLESSED
IF we recognize
That we have RECEIVED
WITHOUT COST
Then we would willingly
HELP OTHERS
"We wait in HOPE
For the Lord=
He is our HELP
And our shield"                                                                                                             Psalm 33:20
"In everything I did
I showed you
That by this kind
Of hard work
We must HELP the WEAK
Remembering the WORDS
The Lord JESUS himself said=
'It is more BLESSED
To GIVE than to receive'"                                                                                                   Acts 20:35
Let us LEARN
To be GRATEFUL
Then we can make
GRATITUDE=A SIGN
OF THE TIMES
Let it BEGIN=with each
ONE OF US
