ALLOWING GOD TO DO HIS WORK


We are SMALL people
In a big LARGE world
And we are all DEPENDENT
On God and others to get by
In this world


“You-Bethlehem-Ephrathah
Too SMALL
To be among
The clans of Judah


For you shall come forth
For me
ONE who is to be
The ruler of Israel” Micah 5:1


Some of us believe we
Are NOT worth anything


IF we do not have that new car car
Or that latest phone
But nothing
Could be further from the TRUTH


Jesus had NO status symbols
He had no material success
All he had was his CHARACTER


Yet he is the MOST IMPORTANT PERSON
The world has ever seen
He was a man of HONOR


“Let the king
Be enthralled
By your beauty


HONOR him
For he is your LORD” Psalm 45:11


“Moreover the Father
Judges no one
But has entrusted all judgment
To the Son


That all may HONOR
The SON
Just as they honer the FATHER


Whoever does not honor the Son
Does not HONOR the Father
Who sent him” John 5:22-23


“You made them
A little lower
Than the angels


You crowned them
With glory and HONOR” Hebrews 2:7


Jesus was a man of HONOR
Mary was a woman
Of HONOR
But both were DEPENDENT
On GOD the Father


They were small and had
To ALLOW God
To do his WORK
Through them
As we have to do too


Despite our age=despite our
Physical or social status
We too are SMALL


We too have to ALLOW
GOD TO WORK THROUGH US
And he will=if we
COOPERATE willingly


“From him=
The whole body joined
And held together
By every supporting ligament


Grows and BUILDS itself up
In love
As each part
DOES ITS WORK” Ephesians 4:16


Today we CELEBRATE the BIRTHDAY
Of the BLESSED MOTHER


Let us know=that we should=
Like Mary did=EMBRACE the small=
And ALLOW GOD to do
HIS WORK IN US
