BEING HUMBLE IN THE LORD!

BEING HUMBLE IN THE LORD!

We live in an
I CULTURE=a me CULTURE
Especially here
In our country=
In this crazy mixed=
WORLD that we live in
"HUMBLE yourself-the more=
The GREATER you are
And you will
FIND FAVOR with God"                                                                                                               Sirach 3:18
And who dosen't
Want to
FIND FAVOR with God?
I have found
In my life=
That the more HUMBLE
You are
The more successful
You are
NOT ALWAYS
But that is often
The case
BEING HUMBLE
IN THE LORD!
"You save the HUMBLE
But bring low
Those whose eyes
Are haughty"                                                                                                                                 Psalm 18:27
"'Has not my hand
Made all these things
And so
They came into being?'
Declares the Lord
'These are the ones
I look on with favor
Those who are
HUMBLE and contrite
In spirit
And who tremble
At my word'"                                                                                                                                        Isaiah 66:2
"HUMBLE yourselves therefore
Under God's mighty hand
That he
May lift you up
In due time"                                                                                                                                            1 Peter 5:6
SOME people think
That IF you are humble
You are weak or inferior
But NOTHING could be
FURTHER from the truth
God lifts UP THE HUMBLE
The proud and arrogant
Are unstable and insecure
But humility is a VIRTUE
And it makes one
STRONG=gracious
And respectful
HUMILITY is strength=
BE HUMBLE
In the Lord!
"Before a downfall
The heart is haughty
But HUMILITY
Comes before honor"                                                                                                                     Proverbs 18:12
"In the same way
You who are younger
Submit yourselves
To your elders
All of you
Clothe yourself
With HUMILITY
Toward one another=because
'God opposes the proud
But shows favor
To the HUMBLE'"                                                                                                                         1 Peter 5:5
Live softly
And be HUMBLE
IN THE LORD!
