HELPING THE POOR
AND LESS FORTUNATE!
Jesus loved the POOR-
The marginalized-and
The LESS FORTUNATE
In fact=he was poor
HIMSELF=and he went out
Of his way=
To HELP the poor=
To HEAL the poor
And do whatever he could
And he died a
POOR MAN'S DEATH
"He stood up to read-
And the scroll
Of the prophet Isaiah
Was handed to him"                                                                                                             Luke 4:16
I am POOR MYSELF=but
I have a DECENT LIFE
Because a lot of people=
Go out of their way
TO HELP ME
And I ALWAYS DO
What I can=to help others
To help those LESS FORTUNATE
Than me
Jesus loved the POOR
And I certainly DO TOO
"But as for me
I am POOR
And needy
May the Lord
Think of me
You are my help
And my deliverer
You are MY GOD
Do not delay"                                                                                                                         Psalm 40:17
"Better the POOR
Whose walk is blameless
Than a fool
Whose lips are perverse"                                                                                                          Proverbs 19:1
"The POOREST of the POOR
Will find pasture
And the needy
Will lie down in safety"                                                                                                         Isaiah 14:30
Jesus SPOKE to the poor
Jesus HEALED the poor
And sick and UNFORTUNATE=
We need to
LOOK at the life
Of Jesus
We need to
EMULATE the life of Jesus
IF we really are
Christ's FOLLOWERS=we will LOVE
The poor and MARGINALIZED too
Do we BRING FOOD
To the church
For the poor?
WHO do we know
That is in POOR HEALTH?
What do we do
For them?
Do we VISIT the poor?
Do we CALL them with
A kind word?
Do we remember them
WITH A CARD?
There are ANY NUMBER
Of things=that we
CAN DO to help
The poor and LESS FORTUNARE
"BLESSED are
The POOR in spirit
For theirs is
The KINGDOM of heaven"                                                                                                          Matthew 5:3
"In Joppa=there was
A disciple named Tabitha
(In Greek her name is Dorcas)
She was
Always doing GOOD
And helping the POOR"                                                                                                       Acts 9:36
By HELPING THE POOR=
By giving to the
Less fortunate
We are loving
And GIVING
In the name of the LORD!
In Jesus' name=and our HELPFUL-GIVING-LOVING FATHER!
