GONE MISSING!

GONE MISSING!


Every day=in America=and
AROUND the world=hundreds-
IF not thousands of children
GO MISSING!


And their parents
Are a NERVOUS WRECK=
Wondering what happened


Would it SURPRISE you
To know=that when Jesus
Was twelve years old=
He was ONE
Of those missing children?


“After three days
They FOUND HIM
In the temple=
Sitting in
The midst
Of the teachers.......” Luke 2:46


I am NOT a parent=
But I am an UNCLE=
And a couple
Of my nieces=
Were missing when they
WERE YOUNG


I can't tell you
The RELIEF that I felt
When they were FOUND


I can ONLY IMAGINE
The relief=Mary and Joseph
Must have FELT=
When Jesus was FOUND
In the TEMPLE


FINDING your lost child=
Finding someone or something
THAT WAS MISSING


“But if from there
You seek
The LORD your God


You will FIND him
If you seek him


With all your heart
And with all your soul” Deuteronomy 4:29


“Praise the Lord
Blessed are they
Who fear the Lord=
Who FIND great delight
In his commands” Psalm 112:1


“Do not
Those who plot evil
Go astray?


But those who plan
What is good-
FIND LOVE and faithfulness” Proverbs 14:22


Today's GOSPEL reminds us
That we cannot CONTROL anyone
Even those
That we love


Jesus was on a MISSION
To do God his
FATHER'S HEAVENLY WILL


When he GOES MISSING=
It is only NATURAL
That he is in
HIS FATHER'S HOUSE=
Talking about
The WORD of God=
Where else
Would he go?


I can only IMAGINE
How GREAT he felt
Talking about the
WORD of God


“Heaven and earth
Will pass away=
But MY WORDS
Will never pass away” Matthew 24:35


WHILE we can't control
Those that we love
Even when
They have GONE MISSING


We can TRUST God the FATHER
To take care of OUR LOVED ONES


In Jesus' name=and in the name of=our FOREVER LOVING FATHER GOD!
