EMBRACING GOD’S WAYS
There is so many things
We DON’T UNDERSTAND=
In this world=
So many questions
That we have for God=
That we just can’t answer
We have to REMEMBER
GOD’S WAYS=are not our ways
And we still need to
EMBRACE GOD’S WAYS
“Some of the scribes
Said in reply
‘TEACHER=you have answered well’
And they no longer
DARED to ask him=any questions”
Luke 20:39-40
The people of Jesus’ time
Could NOT TRAP him=
With their questions
No more than we
Can trap God=
Into our ways of thinking
IN TODAY’S WORLD
Jesus went on to say
That our God=is
The God=OF THE LIVING=
Not of the dead
“But in the account
Of the burning bush
Even Moses showed
That the dead rise
For he calls the Lord
‘The God of Abraham-
And the God of Isaac
And the God of Jacob’
He is NOT
The God=of the dead
But of THE LIVING=
For to him=all are ALIVE”
Luke 20:37-38
So many QUESTIONS=I have
So many questions=we have
FOR OUR GOD
Why do INNOCENT CHILDREN
Suffer and die?
Why do UNETHICAL PEOPLE
Get away with things?
Why can someone=commit a crime=
And get away with it?
Dear Lord=when we have
QUESTIONS for you=
Help us to UNDERSTAND
YOUR WAYS=Help us to
EMBRACE THE WAYS of God!
And trust in
YOUR DIVINE PLAN
EMBRACING YOUR WAYS
“If you are
Pleased with me=
Teach me YOUR WAYS
So that I may know you
And continue=to find favor
With you
Remember that this nation
Is your people”
Exodus 33:13
“We all stumble
IN MANY WAYS
Anyone who is never
At fault=
In what they say
Is perfect
Able to keep
Their whole body in check”
James 3:2
Dear Lord=help us
TO UNDERSTAND you=and YOUR WAYS
When we are questioning you
Help us to
Always EMBRACE YOUR WAYS!
In today’s world
You know=BETTER THAN US
In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our ALL KNOWING=Holy
Father God!
