WITH OUR EYES=FIXED ON HIM!
We have a lot of
Daily anxieties=in this world
There is so much
To be ANXIOUS about
COVID=our health
Our finances=our relationships
But today we BEGIN=ADVENT
The PREPARING for
The COMING of our Jesus
At Christmas=and always
TO LIVE in our hearts
With our EYES FIXED
ON YOU!=Be vigilant!
For the coming of the Lord
“……..Do not become drowsy from……..
The ANXIETIES of daily life……..”

It is TIME to
Take a step back=for a moment
And REFOCUS
It is time to REFOCUS
And PREPARE for the Lord
WITH OUR EYES=FIXED
On the Lord!=we can figure out
What is=of the GREATEST IMPORTANCE
WITH OUR EYES=FIXED ON YOU!
“FIX these words of mine
In your hearts
And minds
Tie them as symbols
On your hands=and bind them
On your foreheads”
Deuteronomy 11:18
“Let your EYES
Look straight ahead=
FIX your gaze=directly before you”

Our daily concerns=are TRANSITORY
Our anxieties=are transitory
KEEP YOUR EYES
Fixed on God=and
All the words
In the bible=and of Jesus
With our eyes
FIXED ON YOU!
God must be FIRST=in our lives
He must be
Our number ONE priority
So take a deep breath
And KEEP YOUR EYES
Focused on God=for he is ETERNAL
When we RELAX=and OPEN our eyes
To God=we become “AWAKE”
In the Lord
“As for me=I will be vindicated
And will see your face
WHEN I AWAKE
I will be satisfied
With seeing your likeness”
Psalm 17:15
“So then=let us
NOT be like others
Who are asleep
But let us be AWAKE
And sober”

So THIS ADVENT=
Let us BE PREPARED
And vigilant=in the Lord
Let us=KEEP OUR EYES
FIXED ON YOU!=until you call us home
