THE SPIRIT OF GIVING!
Today we LEARN a valuable lesson
About the
SPIRIT OF GIVING
And that is
We do not have
TO GIVE
A great big amount
But it is important
That we ALWAYS give
What we can=to HELP ANOTHER
THE SPIRIT OF GIVING!=
Is very important=
In this life
“Amen=I say to you=
This POOR WIDOW
Put in more
Than all the other contributors
To the treasury
For they have all
Contributed from their surplus wealth=
But she=From her poverty
Has contributed
All she had……..” Mark
12:43-44
GIVING all that we can is
THE SPIRIT OF GIVING!
We are IMPRESSED
By this widow’s spirit
Of giving=
Jesus praises her generosity
Sometimes people take
From us=in this world=UNJUSTLY
There are many people
In this world
Who have their hands OPEN
But that does NOT hurt us
As long as we
Are giving with
THE SPIRIT OF GIVING!
As long as we
Are giving of OURSELVES=
And giving the world
ALL that we have
To give with
The proper spirit=
Just like the poor widow is
WHERE a lesson can be valuably learned
“They read
From the Book of the Law
Of God
Making it clear
And GIVING the meaning
That the people understood
What was being read” Nehemiah
8:8
“The precepts=of the Lord
Are right
GIVING JOY=to the heart
The commands of the Lord
Are radiant
GIVING light to the eyes” Psalm
19:8
“But since you excel
In everything-------
In faith-in speech-
In knowledge=in complete earnestness
And in the love
We have kindled in you-------
See that you also excel
In this=GRACE OF GIVING”
2 Corinthians 8:7
The POOR WIDOW=knew firsthand
What it was
To give everything that she had
JUST LIKE JESUS!
What a tremendous EXAMPLE
They are for us=to teach us
In=THE SPIRIT OF GIVING!
I love all of you=my FAMILY AND FRIENDS=
You have GIVING HEARTS!
In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our ALWAYS GIVING=Holy
Father God!
