“God Taught Us”
God taught us
To live with love
God taught us
To live with kindness
God taught us
To live with forgiveness
Somehow we think
We know better
No wonder
The world is such a mess
Jesus Christ
Lived all of these things
So did Ghandi, Mohammed,
And Martin Luther King
Not to mention
St. Theresa, The Little Flower
And Mother Theresa too
The people actually doing this
In this world
Are way way too few
God taught us
To live with love
God taught us
To live with kindness
God taught us
To live with
Forgiveness
Life is a test
And we’ve already been given
All of the answers
God taught us
What we should do
