STARVING
We live
In a starving world
A world
Starving with hunger
A world
Starving for homes
A world
Starving for medical care
A world
Starving for attention of any kind
Yet
What the world
Is starving the most for
And is in most need of
The salvation of God
What is most sad
About this starving
Is that
The world doesn’t even know it
Or worse
Doesn’t even care
Let us begin
To turn our heads
Back in the direction of God
Let us begin
To turn back to the needs of our brother
Let us begin to recognize
To understand again
That there but there for the grace of God
