WE ARE ON A JOURNEY!
As we TRAVEL-
Through this life=
We must=PREPARE OURSELVES
Prepare ourselves to travel
ON A JOURNEY
With God=our Holy Father
And his Jesus=
IF we want to do it
If we want
TO LIVE IT RIGHT
This journey
Will INSPIRE our spirits
And nourish our souls
And at times=this JOURNEY
Will BREAK our very hearts
“……..everyone of you
Who does not=
Renounce all his possessions-
Cannot be my disciple”
Luke 14:33
And this journey
WILL TEST US=in every way
It will test our PERSEVERANCE=
It will test
Our courage=
And it will
TEST OUR FAITH!
We must let go
Of ALL
That interferes with God
We must lay the FOUNDATION
For God the Holy Father
In our lives
Leaving only ROOM
To love others
With the CHRISTIAN SPIRIT!
“So this is what
The Sovereign Lord says=
‘See I lay
A stone in Zion
A TESTED STONE=
A precious cornerstone
For a SURE FOUNDATION
The one=who relies on it
Will never
Be stricken with panic’”
Isiah 28:16
“…….built on the FOUNDATION
Of the apostles and prophets
With Christ himself-
As the chief cornerstone” Ephesians
2:20
We MUST
Leave everything behind
That interferes
With our RELATIONSHIP
With God and Jesus=
We must travel LIGHTLY
As we go on THIS JOURNEY
With God
We are=ON A JOURNEY
With God and Jesus
“Again it will be
Like a man=
Going on a JOURNEY
Who called his servants
And entrusted
His wealth to them”
Matthew 25:14
I am WALKING
With the Lord
Through this life
ON THIS JOURNEY
CHERISHING the love=and
Understanding the pain
That we all go through
HOW ABOUT YOU?
In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our FOREVER LOVING Holy
