DO WHAT IS RIGHT

 

DO WHAT IS RIGHT

Many people say=

There are NO SELFLESS ACTS

In this world

That everyone is MOTIVATED

By the hope=

Of a REWARD-

But I beg to differ

All we have to do

Is LOOK AT JESUS=

And dying on the cross=

GIVING HIS LIFE up

For the love of us all

“If our God-

Whom we serve

Can save us

From the white hot furnace

And from your hands=O king

May he SAVE us!

But even if he will not........

We will

NOT SERVE your God.......”                                                                                  Daniel 3:17-18

These three men=

Shadrach-Mescach-and Abednego

Would Not bow down

To the king

They had FAITH

In the real life

LIVING GOD

And they PROMISED to serve him

They were doing the right thing

DO WHAT IS RIGHT!

Sometimes we may act

To receive PRAISE

So that others

Will think

We are virtuous

Or we might act

In a certain way

To PROVE a point

Or to=prove someone else inferior

It is NATURAL

To hope that we are rewarded

For doing what we do

But many of us

Act in an HONEST WAY

Just to do the right thing

DO WHAT IS RIGHT!

“The Lord said

'If you listen carefully

To the Lord=your God

And DO WHAT IS RIGHT

In his eyes

If you pay attention

To his commands

And keep all his decrees

….....

I am the Lord

Who heals you'”                                                                                             Exodus 15:26

“The precepts of the Lord

Are RIGHT=giving joy

To the heart

The commands of the Lord

Are radiant-

Giving light to the eyes”                                                                                       Psalm 19:8

BEING a disciple of the          

Holy Father God=and

Of Jesus Christ

Compels us

To DO THE RIGHT THING!

God asks us

To LIVE as he made us

To be

With love=kindness=and forgiveness

“Do not repay anyone

Evil for evil

Be careful TO DO

WHAT IS RIGHT

In the eyes of everyone”                                                                                   Romans 12:17

Therefore we trust God

To DO WHAT IS RIGHT=

Even with no earthly rewards

In sight

Just to live in faith and hope

And LOVE

And trusting God=

That our rewards=will be great

IN HEAVEN

Dear Lord=we PRAY=

Help us to DO WHAT IS RIGHT

And keep doing the right thing

Forever and ever

In Jesus' name=and in the name=of our ever JUST HOLY FATHER God!
