STAYING OPEN=TO GOD!

 

STAYING OPEN=TO GOD!

 

There are a lot=of people

That have=a lot of KNOWLEDGE

In this world

 

But it does NOT MEAN

They always HAVE WISDOM=

Like King Solomon had=or the

SPIRITUAL KNOWLEDGE

Of the great Jesus Christ!

 

“Or who ever knew

Your counsel=except you

HAD GIVEN WISDOM

 

And sent your HOLY SPIRIT

From on high?”                                                                                                                        Wisdom 9:17

 

WISDOM is not always present

In the human heart

 

FOR MOST OF US=the events

Of our life

Have to be REFLECTED UPON

 

And integrated=into our minds

For us=TO FIND THE WISDOM

Of the Lord=in our hearts

 

STAYING OPEN TO God!

Staying open to Jesus=looking for

THE WISDOM=of the Holy Spirit!

 

“But God made the earth-

By his power=

Having founded the world

BY HIS WISDOM

 

And stretched out=the heavens

By his understanding”                                                                                                               Jeremiah 10:12

 

“BUT WISOM=is proved right

By her deeds”                                                                                                                           Matthew 11:19

 

“And Jesus grew=IN WISDOM

And stature=and in favor

With God and man”                                                                                                                        Luke 2:52

 

Look at the people

That STAND OUT=with WISDOM

In/from your life

 

There is ONE QUALITY

That is common=to all of them

HUMILITY!

 

It doesn’t matter

How much EDUCATION they had

It doesn’t really matter

How SMART they are/were

 

They taught=BY THEIR ATTITUDES

They taught

By their common sense

 

They lived their lives

WITH COURAGE=and humility

And integrity

 

HUMILITY in a person

Helps us to understand

We DON’T KNOW IT ALL!

It helps us=keep

STAYING OPEN TO GOD!

 

“WISDOM’S INSTRUCTION=

Is to fear the Lord=and HUMILITY comes

Before honor”                                                                                                                           Proverbs 15:33

 

“Do nothing-

Out of selfish ambition=

Or vain conceit

 

Rather IN HUMILITY=value others

Above yourselves

 

Not looking=to your own interests-

But each of you-

To the interests=of the others”                                                                                           Philippians 2:3-4

 

So keep yourselves OPEN

To the GIFT OF WISDOM=

From God’s Holy Spirit

And you just might

 

FIND SOME HUMILITY

By STAYING OPEN=TO GOD!

 

In Jesus’ name=of our always HUMBLE+HOLY FATHER God!
