WITH OPEN ARMS


Today=we read about=
One of Jesus' most
IMPORTANT LESSONS


We read about
Saint Luke's lesson
Of the PRODIGAL SON


The FATHER=
Just waiting with OPEN ARMS-
For the RETURN
Of his long lost son


WAITING=with open arms
Just waiting=
For US to return


“His son said to him=
'Father I have sinned
Against heaven
And against you


I no longer deserve
To be CALLED your son'


But his father
Ordered his servants........
'Let us CELEBRATE
With a feast


Because this son of mine
Was dead=
And has
Come to LIFE AGAIN


He was lost
And has been FOUND'
Then the celebration began” Luke 15:21-24


I TREASURE this paradox
I treasure that
The FATHER


Is just waiting for us
To RETURN to him


I treasure that he
LOVES us that much


A spiritual reminder
For us all
That there is=
ALWAYS HOPE for us


WITH OPEN ARMS
God is waiting
For us to RETURN to him


“So is my word
That goes out
From my mouth


It will not RETURN
To me empty=
But will accomplish


What I desire
And achieve the purpose
For which I sent it” Isaiah 55:11


“Come let us RETURN
To the Lord=
He has torn us
To pieces-
But he will heal us


He has injured us
But he will bind up
Our wounds” Hosea 6:1


“'Even now,'
Declares the Lord,
'RETURN to me
With all your heart


With fasting and weeping
And mourning'” Joel 2:12


That is what
The PRODIGAL SON does


And the Father
RECEIVES HIM
With open arms
And with LOVE


The message in this PARABLE
Is that if we
Are self-seeking


IF we are trying to
Earn God's favor=
We are BLOCKING our ability
To receive the LOVE OF GOD


But if we come
To God IN HUMILITY=
Holding back nothing


His kingdom is ours
And so is his love


He is WAITING
WITH OPEN ARMS
Four our RETURN TO HIM


In Jesus' name and in the name of our=ALWAYS WELCOMING and waiting FATHER!
