BE A DOER OF THE WORD TOO

I love

Reading the BIBLE=

I love PRAYING every day

But it is NOT ENOUGH

To read about

The word of God=

We must be doers

Of the WORD TOO

LOVE=forgive=and

BE KIND=do this

Every day=in your life

“Blessed are those

Who hear the

WORD OF GOD

And OBSERVE IT” Luke 11:28

How OFTEN have you heard

A MESSAGE in church--------

About being BETER PEOPLE

About how we can

SERVE MORE-pray more-forgive more-

And nodded your head IN AGREEMENT?

And you think=isn't he

Or she wonderful?

And then you are not gone

Five minutes=and you

Are FALLING INTO

The same pattern of behavior

As before

LISTEN to the word of GOD=

Read the word of God=

But be

DOERS of the word too!

Observe and ACT ON

THE WORD OF GOD

“........so that all people

May know of your

MIGHTY ACTS=

And the glorious splendor

Of your kingdom” Psalm 145:12

“Praise him

For his ACTS of power=

Praise him

For his surpassing greatness” Psalm 150:2

“For the WORD of God

Is alive and ACTIVE-

Sharper than any

Double-edged sword=

It penetrates even to

Dividing soul and spirit

Joints and marrow-

It judges the thoughts

And attitudes of the heart” Hebrews 4:12

BE DOERS=be active with

The word of God=

Live it=live

The WORD OF GOD

In today's gospel

Jesus reminds us

That the messenger

Is NOT as important

As the MESSAGE

He says to be

DOERS of the word

And let yourself

BE TRANSFORMED by his word

“Consequently faith comes

From hearing the MESSAGE

And the MESSAGE

Is heard

Through the WORD ABOUT CHRIST” Romans 10:17

BE A DOER-

Of the word of God

I WONDER what our world

Would look like=

If we all became

DOERS OF GOD'S LIVING WORD!

In Jesus' name=and in the MESSAGE from GOD=our HOLY LIVING-LOVING FATHER!
